My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room I stayed in was large with 2 queen beds and immaculately clean, but I faced issues like a small TV and a bathroom door that didn't work. The service provided was a bundle of extremes - from one staff member not having a clue about the menu to others being fantastic, top of the line, very courteous, and professional. The location worked well for me, perfect for walking my pets and suited my business day needs, though it was a bit far from other amenities like Starbucks and away from other hotels in Santee, SC. The dining experience was excellent, but the downside was that it was not a part of the overall bill, so that was a bit of a letdown. Overall, it is a pretty nice place with traditional local cakes on offer.
